I think we should totally eliminate welfare in the United States. The only exception is that it should be like unemployment. You should have to put into to get it. I do realize that anybody could get sick, injured, or lose their job through no fault of their own. In this case then we should have a system that provides assistance just like unemployment meaning if you don’t work and don’t have credits in the system you don’t collect.
For lunch I usually go to this food stamp grocery store near my work because they have some really good hot ready made lunches for $5.00. However, I always stand in line behind somebody that has a cart full of groceries that is paying for it with a welfare card. They obviously don’t have jobs because they wouldn’t be grocery shopping at that time of day.
I am single and support myself with no help from anybody. Why should I have to pay for somebody who is uneducated, lazy, and pops out kids to have free food, free rent, and whatever else for free? I don’t get free food, I don’t get anything for free, and I have to pay out of my *** every month for rent so I don’t have to live by these people. Why?
What ever happen to the belief that if you can’t afford kids you don’t have them? Is it fair that the parents who support their own kids or don’t have kids have to support other people’s kids too?
Yeah, I do live in a gated community! People on welfare can’t afford to live here so it is nice and quiet.
