Rimfire rifles are subject to different rules than centerfire rifles. The kit shown in the link I followed may be legal. You’re best course of action is to contact the California DOJ with this question. Below is a link to the CA DOJ, Firearms Division. On the page is a link to contact them, just ask a specific question and they will respond. Save their response, having a written DOJ response will go a long way to keeping you out of trouble. You can pretty much do whatever you want to it….
You will be legal with that stock
Then only things you can’t have:
High Cap Magazines: over 10 rounds
and night vision scopes
