paypal.com is always a good start. Kinda also depends on what you're selling. Are you selling a specific type of item such as clothing or is it more than that? Are you going to sell 50 items or 500 items? Does each product have a unique color, size or style to it?

Do a search on Google for shopping carts and go from there. PHP and MySQL type carts make pretty good shopping cart software, and affordable as well. Bear in mind that you also have to pay about $100 a year for a SSL certificate to safely take credit card orders.
