What exactly is the problem? You seem to know how to use php to access a MySql database and present the result. That is basically all a shopping cart is.
Provide the user a user name or cookie.
Provide links i the presentation for add to cart, view cart, and check out that calls the routines in your php scripts for them.
Actually pretty simple stuff and most of the shopping cart systems will be similar execpt for presentation.
Do you already have a list of items to use in the project? A way to present the items? If so, just incorporate the links mentioned above into that presentation.
how said that opensource is complicated ? it may be have alot of features that ur web store will not use ..
but if you want to make a one 4m scratch … try this tut
it’s great Building a simple PHP shopping cart
Your reasons for not wanting an open source project make absolutely no sense. If what you mean is that the open source you have found has not been easy to administer, that’s your fault for not finding the right product.
There are plenty of perfectly find open source shopping carts that are very secure and easy to administer. The biggest and best is OS Commerce:
With all due respect, if you can’t manage OS Commerce, you don’t deserve to be in college. Also, they have extensive community support at so there’s no excuse to not be able to work through a problem.
Why do not you hire a php freelancer to code it for you? Check
