I’m looking for a payment system besides paypal for an ecomerce website. Needs to accept Credit Cards?

shopping cart system

Idealy I would like to be able to just POST to a place with CC#, items, price, etc. Although I could work with a shopping cart. Any suggestions? I’m also looking into merchant accounts but those look to be expensive to use.

Try the DebitPLUS! service by Matrix Media Network in Michigan.

You mentioned a merchant account as a choice. It is actually less expensive than you think. The key is to avoid all of the extra fees or charges that go along with a merchant account. For example, get a merchant account with no monthly minimum and no annual fee, and a low monthly statement fee. If you do this, and accept no credit cards in a month, the most you would pay would be around $6 for the account.
