has anyone heard of the orbit baby system?
I was wondering what you thought of it for if you have a 2year old and a newborn?
I really wish they had a tandem stroller but they don’t but you can hook every seat onto the stroller and the rocker and the infant seat is convenient looking for placing into a car plus it has the pull down shade so you don’t have to put a blanket over the top of the seat.
i really like this product based on the ease of use and all the demos and positive reviews i have seen but am worried i may need a tandem stroller…..altho i don’t go too far while walking and i usually use a cart when grocery shopping so it seems doable..
what do you think?
also if you have an orbit and two kids at or under two how has it been for you?

wow i never even thought about zoo trips my other option i was thinking about was an options tandem and combi carseat but i think that i will definately have another set of hands on outings like that due to the fact that i wont go alone….dont know how to drive in the city lol plus a simple umbrella stroller suited my neice just great when she was two for disney land and they are small so fitting it and the orbit into my trunk would be a breeze

never heard of it sorry
The Orbit system is great, but it’s not meant for two children. Why not get a Phil and Ted’s jogging stroller and converting the basket below into the second seat–you can buy the kit to turn it into a double stroller. The Valco Baby stroller does the same thing–converts from a single to a double if you’re worried about space. You really need a stroller for two kids, not using a single stroller and hoping your two year old won’t get tired or run off in the opposite direction.
If you want a top of the line car seat, go with a Peg Perego (it has side impact protection) or a Maxi Cosi which does, too. The Combi is good, as well. I would steer clear of the Evenflos, Coscos, and Gracos of the world and go with something with higher safety ratings. What if you go to the zoo, the mall, or other longer day trips? You’ll really need a double stroller or a second set of hands to push two singles. Depends on what your using them for. If you only go grocery shopping and know you have a second set of hands when you do go elsewhere to push your two year old in an umbrella stroller, then go for the Orbit!
